how can you expect results when you dont start working?
i remember one time, when olympic fever was all time high, i rushed out of the
bathroom draped in towels the moment i heard 'michael phelps'. call me crazy
but that was how much i want to watch him even if he was competing in the heats.
he came in second in the heats but went on to win gold medal in the finals. that
was what i mean by putting blood and sweat into action. i read his interview with
a lucky guy, claiming himself being forced to go through tedious training sessions.
if im not mistaken, he was only 15.
a 15 year old dont need this, that was what he was thinking. but his coach knew
its useless then, but will be worth it in the future. he was right. it took years of non-
stop hardwork for one person to capture 8 gold medals in a single olympics. i think
he should be remembered for his hardwork and not as 'the greatest olympian'.
that title is worthless without is effort.
thats why im in such a hurry to catch him on live telecast.
if one person can achieve that much in as many years, 50 can do away
with a gold with months to spare. start working, it will worth more than tears of
sorrow and regrets.
though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone
can start from now and make a brand new ending.
ps. this is not a post just to talk about phelps and his achievements.
there's much more to it!
